W+W and Fashion’s Night Out 2009

The White + Warren Web Team threw caution to the (rainy) wind last night and set out to celebrate the kick-off of New York Fashion Week with a little shopping and a lot of party-hopping. No, our lives aren’t usually this fabulous, but we were ready to step out of our comfort zone and into the clothes of some amazing designers! Fashion’s Night Out, an idea from the likes of DVF and Anna Wintour, took place last night in 12 countries in an attempt to reignite the excitement of shopping and to support the economy and the people who work every day to create that one thing that you, yes YOU, simply love to wear. As if that wasn’t enough, the FNO tees being sold at participating stores will benefit the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and a city-wide clothing drive will benefit the NYC Aids Fund. We had a blast and shared our many experiences on White + Warren’s Twitter page and even posted some pics! All in all, it was a great night for New York and a great night for fashionistas everywhere.
