What color is your First Class Travel Wrap?

I’m lucky enough to be in the same book club as Susan White. Well, actually we’re both lucky because our book club is made up of really smart, interesting women. We read some pretty great books and have lively discussions as well as a lot of laughs. What does this have to do with cashmere? Be patient with me, I’ll get there. Recently, we read Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout and had the good fortune of the author agreeing to come up to Pelham on a cold, snowy night in February to talk with us. How did we thank her, besides buying 25 copies of her book and hiring a car service to and from the city? Gifts of course! Now you know where I’m heading. Susan provided a gorgeous blue cashmere Travel Wrap for the goodie bag. Needless to say, Elizabeth Strout was blown away (and who wouldn’t be). She immediately donned the Travel Wrap and when asked what she thought of the color said “Periwinkle is fun to say and fun to wear.” Even though I thought the color was closer to cobalt, it got me thinking- what other colors are fun to say? Are there enough to cover the whole Travel Wrap color spectrum? If anyone has ideas for replacing existing Travel Wrap colors (except for Poppy- personally, I think Poppy has it all) with names that are more fun to say, feel free to share. I’ll be happy to present Susan with a list of suggestions at our next book club.
