Living Responsibly
The greenest lady I know is my mother, Sue White. She always says, “Why buy new if the one you have can still be used?” One of the best memories of my Mom being responsible is the inside out washed baggie, hanging to dry from one of the kitchen cabinets getting ready for it’s next use. We never used anything just once in our house growing up. It’s been 50 years of learning how to make it a better place for the next generation.
I create the least amount of trash as possible each and everyday. I conserve energy and I never waste water. I re-use anything and everything I can everyday, it’s the way I think all day long. What I do is simple and straight forward, it is a way of life. I just hope to set a good enough example for those around me in order to effect change.
