Earth Day Memo:

Earth Day Conservation Tips

White + Warren is comprised of a surprisingly small group of people working in a showroom overlooking Bryant Park in New York City. We’re a tight-knit group and we’re very committed to being as eco-friendly as possible here in the office. For a little reminder (and a little encouragement), our fearless green leader Susan White sent out a timely company-wide email this morning… and we thought we’d share it with you!

Utilities:

  • Never leave the light on in the kitchen when you leave.
  • Turn your radio off at the end of the day.
  • Turn your lights off when you leave your office.
  • If you don’t have a blackberry, turn off your computer every night.
  • If you do, at least turn the screen off.
  • Never leave the steamer or anything else that is uses electricity plugged in.
  • Turn off your computer on Friday before you leave.

Supplies:

  • The more we review on screen the less post its, pens, pencils and paper we will use.
  • Do not print emails, if you think you need a record save them on a disc, or back them up.
  • Do not print reports, create a pdf and review on screen.

Postage:

  • Pay bills on line.
  • Do not mail, e-mail.
  • Any king of electronic file should never be sent in the mail or via FedEx.

HAPPY EARTH DAY!!
