On a recent trip to India for creative inspiration, White + Warren founder Susan White and design staffer Bari Cohen were immediately taken with the color and energy they encountered everywhere. At Indian Fashion Week, they met New Delhi designer Anupama Dayal and fell in love with her collection. The Anapumaa line brings together traditional Indian hand-crafted textiles and hand-blocked prints with updated silhouettes. A partnership was born, giving rise to Anupamaa for White + Warren, a collection of cashmere pashmina wraps. Anupamaa for White + Warren pashminas are woven with pure cashmere yarn, then hand printed using traditional natural dyes for vibrant yet sophisticated color combinations. Each pashmina is then trimmed at the edges with a contrasting band of silk chiffon. With a distinctive softness and drape, these pashminas can be worn in an almost endless multitude of ways- whether as a wrap, shawl, sarong, or surplice top.
