Spring 2010′s Cozy Cotton Coat

belted-sweater-coat.jpg It’s warming up here in NYC and our thoughts are turning to spring jackets. It’s just about time to ditch the heavy coat in favor of lighter weights. We can’t wait to rock our new Belted Sweater Coat with Current/Elliot denim leggings, our Pima Cotton Rib Tank and tall boots (like the magnificent Belstaff Trailmasters at Net-a-Porter)! The wide collar on our Belted Sweater Coat looks great with scarves- the Cashmere Wrap Scarf for now and the Pima Tee Wrap for later. For warmer days, try pushing up the sleeves and tying the belt in the back to wear it open over the new spring cropped cargos (we love J Brand’s version). The sweater coat is so easy to wear, plus it transitions nicely into fall.

Our Office Obsession: The Pima Cotton Jersey Blazer

pima-blazer.jpg

“Whether dressed down casual with Converse or dressed up with a silk tank and pumps, this blazer is ready for any occasion and the new staple of my Spring 10 closet. I absolutely love it, it’s my new obsession!!!” – Natalie, design team

“One of our most anticipated spring styles has just arrived, and it’s had a major impact here at W+W! The Pima Cotton Jersey Blazer is here, and I can’t stop wearing it! It was the perfect piece to pair with skinny J Brands and Loeffler Randall booties to go from a Williamsburg dinner party to a downtown fashion party. And it was just as perfect the next morning for brunch at Prune and shopping on Bond Street.” – Liz, team web

“I love love love this blazer, the first time I put it on I felt instantly chic! The subtle shoulder pads give it that little bit of edge without transporting you back to the 90’s. I wore mine with the sleeves pushed up, black skinnies, motorcycle boots and a chunky silver necklace for a Valentine’s Day night out with friends in Philly.” – Christine, team web

Hemlock: A Chic New Shade Of Teal

cashmere-wrap_hemlock-teal.jpgTeal is the color of the season for Spring 2010 and will continue into Fall 2010. It’s the new color to replace the blues and greens in your closet; its opulent jewel tone is great next to any complexion. Lush shades of rich teal were straight off the catwalks, seen at collections including Alberta Ferretti, Versace, Marni, Balenciaga, Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Marc Jacobs and Twenty8Twelve. Why not buy the Travel Wrap in Hemlock to add the trending color and update your closet. It’s the color to be seen in… it’s ‘the teal deal’!!!!
