We are so proud to once again support breast cancer awareness month, for the 13th year in a row. This year we’ve created an adorably feminine yet chic duo for our Pink Cashmere Collection. The Cashmere Side Ruffle Scarf and Cashmere Ruffle Glove are both in pure cashmere, yummy to wear and stylish to behold. Both the gloves and the scarf are available in freesia pink in honor of breast cancer awareness, as well as black and white. Now through the end of October 50% of proceeds are being donated to Women At Risk, a program at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center that enhances the lives of women with breast cancer and who are at high risk for the development of breast cancer, through research, education and support.

The White + Warren Web Team threw caution to the (rainy) wind last night and set out to celebrate the kick-off of New York Fashion Week with a little shopping and a lot of party-hopping. No, our lives aren’t usually this fabulous, but we were ready to step out of our comfort zone and into the clothes of some amazing designers! Fashion’s Night Out, an idea from the likes of DVF and Anna Wintour, took place last night in 12 countries in an attempt to reignite the excitement of shopping and to support the economy and the people who work every day to create that one thing that you, yes YOU, simply love to wear. As if that wasn’t enough, the FNO tees being sold at participating stores will benefit the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and a city-wide clothing drive will benefit the NYC Aids Fund. We had a blast and shared our many experiences on White + Warren’s Twitter page and even posted some pics! All in all, it was a great night for New York and a great night for fashionistas everywhere.

Fashion Week Daily is one of our favorite sites for a quick update on what’s hot, right now. Animal prints are popping up all over the place and we’re so excited that our Cashmere Leopard V Cardigan is today’s Daily Obsession!

There’s nothing more exciting for us than hearing that a celebrity is wearing White + Warren (well, with the exception of SEEING that celebrity wearing White + Warren). We were thrilled to hear that Alexa Chung recently kept warm at the Reading and Leeds Music Festival in her native England with her Cashmere Cable Travel Wrap! Chung, a former model and host of MTV’s It’s On With Alexa Chung, decided to dial up the cool-factor by wearing her wrap with a fedora and leather mini (very rocker chic). We think it will look fab peeking out of a coat once the weather turns chilly!
