I would like to take this opportunity to tell a brief story about why I love working for a cashmere company… The fabulous employees of White + Warren came into work this week to find that the boiler in the building had broken over the weekend. This was no ordinary Monday morning in New York City, this was a 19 degrees with a wind chill factor of 7 kind of morning. Soon, we were all layered head to finger to toe in cashmere! A few Travel Wraps here, some Fingertip Gloves there (for practical typing, of course) and a good cup of tea were all we needed. Braving the frigid office temperatures (ok, it was only for an hour) we patiently waited for a new boiler and the sound of a hissing radiator. To quote a co-worker, “who knows where we’d be if we worked for a swimsuit company!” Amen, sister.

This week, a very lucky White + Warren Facebook fan won a Wrap Up in Bark Heather. What was the special occasion you ask? Well, proving that life does indeed imitate art (or maybe it’s the other way around), W+W devotee Blake Lively wore the scarf as her Gossip Girl character in Monday’s episode. The winning Facebook fan correctly answered our trivia question about the show (in only 1 minute!) and was rewarded for her dedication with the cozy scarf in the same color that Serena wore- Valentino leather bomber, J Brand skinny jeans and gorgeous Celine bag not included. Sorry, we’d love to have the whole outfit too… a girl can dream!
